UTILITIES INDUSTRY
We have extensive experience developing a variety of database systems in the public utilities arena. These databases were constructed in both the client-server and mainframe environments. The client-server database systems used were Microsoft SQL-Server running on COMPAQ PROLIANT machines utilizing the Windows NT operating system, and SYBASE SQL-Server running on IBM RS/6000 machines utilizing the AIX operating system. The mainframe database system used was DB2 running on an IBM ES9000 utilizing the MVS operating system.
FINANCIAL INDUSTRY
We have extensive experience developing a number of mainframe and client-server database systems for two worldwide asset management corporations. The mainframe applications were developed using IBM's DB2 relational database with COBOL as the development language. The client-server applications were developed using SYBASE's SQL-Server relational database with SMALLTALK as the client development Language.
PUBLISHING INDUSTRY
Setup and administered the Database Department. Architected the database that housed the publishing data supplying 70% of the revenue stream for the corporation. Our personnel have rewritten the mainframe based systems to operate in a client-server environment using Oracle Forms 4.5 as a client development tool, accessing an Oracle database running on large scale DEC ALPHA servers.
BANKING INDUSTRY
Our personnel were responsible for designing and implementing a DB2 database running on an IBM mainframe in support of a corporate-wide loan processing system.
MEDICAL INDUSTRY
Our personnel are currently responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of various client-server systems using Visual Basic as the client development accessing SYBASE and Oracle databases running on various server hardware platforms. These systems support different medical instrument production applications.
Our personnel setup and administered the Database Department. We were responsible for the logical and physical design of DB2 databases constructed to support patient care and accounting systems.
OIL INDUSTRY
Our personnel were responsible for the maintenance of client-server systems as related to the oil industry. These systems were written in PowerBuilder and accessed Oracle databases running on various hardware platforms.
